Is source a good anti-piracy system?

Ok maybe writing 'is it possible to pirate Half Life 2' a bad idea for a title. What I want to know is.Is source a effective way to combat piracy or not.Is source a good anti-piracy system?
Dude just buy it like the rest of us.Is source a good anti-piracy system?
Dude just buy it like the rest of us.
He's asking if there is an effective anty-piracy system... Oh and btw OP, what you mean is if STEAM is a effective way to combat piracy, I tell you that's a kind of not so disruptive DRM, but no. Every game can be pirated, every steam game is pirated if you do a quick google search, as long as there is a protection system, it will be bypassed.
He wasn't talking about pirating it.On topic: Absolutely not.

I do not see anything about asking that so I made a mistake.
Source is a game engine and has nothing to do with anti-piracy
He obviously meant Steam. And no, it's not any harder to pirate than any other anti-piracy system. The basic rule of thumb is: if it's electronic and someone wants it bad enough, they will get it.
No, if people want any popular steam games they'll get it as easily as any other popular game.
Anything can get cracked.Go to your favorite search engine and type in ''Cracked Half-Life 2'' into the search box. You'll get quite a few hits.
every steam game can get pirated. i don't think u should. u should buy the game like everyone else that plays video games.
google up a torrent/file sharing site and search in any of the ''source'' titles once you've found one, should be self explanitory..
No.
