Call of Duty 4 problems

everytime i try to install my copy of call of duty 4: game of the year edition on my pc, it always freezes during the installation. i just bought it saturday and it is brand new, never been open. so what is the problem with it and how to fix it?Call of Duty 4 problems

im not sure but the mouse curser will stop to move and the thing won't load any more (i mean the game)
