Mass Effect key not working for BDTS

Hey I've had Mass Effect for a while, but haven't really played it much and so I figured I get the patch and new content and give it another go.Problem is, my CD-key doesn't work, and I've re-checked it multiple times and it's the program with the error, anyone know what's wrong?(No it's not pirated, I can take a picture of it if you guys don't believe me) also is there a mod to change the crappy alien voice from that american sounding voice? Wait, are you trying to install BDTS with the same Mass Effect key? it doesn't work like that, you have to register your Mass Effect copy on the Bioware ME forum and you will receive a key for BTDS on your account page.
