empire total war or world in conflict+?

so i just got 50 bucks and im either getting empire total war or world in conflict and annother game (probably either okami for wii or counter strike source.) which should i get?empire total war or world in conflict+?
depends on whether you like small scale/large scale, strategic and slow/fast paced and action packed. If you prefer the former, go with Empire: Total War. If the latter, then World in Conflict are for you. There's an Empire demo on Steam, and I'm pretty sure u can dig up a WIC demo somehwere (BTW, there's a community made level editor).

As much of a fan as I am of the Total War series, I suggest you wait until they iron out the game a bit (definitely get it eventually though).There's just a lot of issues with the demo that will hopefully be fixed by retail, but you should definitely avoid pre-ordering the game. World In Conflict has an amazing singleplayer and the multiplayer is ok. I'd recommend Company of Heroes (best multiplayer), if you're not determined to get one of those two games.

yea i already have coh, and dow2 etc. i think im gonna go for WiC because ill beable to aford more than one game. empire just looks like it will take too much of my time. i do have friends to see, lol...not that i wouldnt like it.

that's something else you have to take into account: time. One reason I don't play WoW. In that case, WIC is perfect - you can finish missions generally pretty quickly, and the multiplayer is pretty fast-paced.
E:TW due to the amazing replay value....im going to turn into a zombie come release day. I already keep playing the demo over and over again.

you're the mad scientist and you command an army of zombies sent to destroy every human being..anyways to answer the topic...world in conflict is pretty fun for the first 4- 5 months..i got stuck to that game..but after that..it kind of gets boring...
WiC feels very generic and ''been there, done that''. Get Empire: Total War.
Go with World in Conflict...it's such a beautiful game! The multiplayer is easily the best that I've ever played once you get the hang of it and the action starts immediately. Oh yeah, tactical nukes are awesome.
