VTMB - Install and uninstall problems.

I tried to uninstall Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines via the Control Panel->Uninstall a Program, and for a while, it was just saying the same old message I was trying to get rid of, ''Available memory less than 15 MB!'' So, because it kept on saying that, instead of showing I need to reinstall, I tried to just manualy delete all of the files and folders and such. Well, that still didn't work. When I booted up the disk it didn't do anything but say that stupid message! So then I go and browse through the disk and add all of the files from the disk and put them where the VTMB file was in the Local Disk (C:)-> Program Files (x86). Now, all it does when I put the disk in is pop up with the initial menu (Play, Uninstall, blah blah blah blah...) and when you click Play, it shows DemoShield 7.5.Can ANYONE help me so I can just play the dang game?
