Play the game, do not cheat in it.
It's not a cheat but set up a game with multiple managers and alternate between them during transfer season. You can push deals through to the point of what the footballer wants to do himself. A lot of the time the bigguns will flock to you so set the bid to zero and accept it from the other side and negotiate a rediculously generous contract thanks to your reduced budget on the transfer market (sell your cruddy ones to ake up for the big boy's pocket money).
Also you can use one real time editor which I've seen in their official forum.
