What the best way to stop this? it keeps popping up as been blocked but it becoming very annoying and it's already managed to get into an older computer and put 300+ trojan virus into it.How to stop port scan
I had a similar issue with my laptop, but it was only because I was on a friends network. The issue went away after I returned home and was on a secure wireless connection.I'd just google that exact question and see what comes up. How to stop port scan
I have google it but most of the pages that came up were 2-4 years old.
A port scan just checks what ports on your external ip address/domain name reply back. You can't stop them, but I'm not sure if were on the same page. Just get a NAT, and make sure it has logging.

Just turn off notification of it. You don't need to see nor worry about it.
In the case of your old computer it was likely either not secure (no firewall or lack of updated Windows) or you ran/installed the viruses thinking they were something else.

But I guess a simpel router will do... has some security, and will also NAT your IP...That's all folks.
