What difficulty are you playing Dawn of War 2 at?

I am going to start the campaign and I dont know if I should paly at default difficulty (2 out of 4) or if I should try difficulty 3 out of 4. I heard that difficulty 4 (Primarch) is EXTREMELY tough, so I dont know if I should just leave it on 2 or should I try 3. You cant change the difficulty once you start so .... what do u think? By the way, my brother is a big fun of Company of Heroes and he told me that he is having a blast playing the campaign of DOW2.He says that he dosent know if it is a RTS, RPG or an action RPG but that it is really FUN.What difficulty are you playing Dawn of War 2 at?
Firstly the campaign is INCREDIBLY fun...never experienced this sort of action and scale in the singleplayer version of an RTS before! I'm loving it...and your question about difficulty is incredibly valid because it impacts gameplay to a huge extent.I'm not an RTS pro by any means, but I went for the third hardest difficulty (3 out of 4) and I'm incredibly pleased with the choice. The game starts out at a fabulous pace and once you meet the nids...the difficulty shoots right up - those guys are TOUGH! Dawn of War 2 is best experienced when it's difficult because that's when your strategic juices start flowing! You start making tactics like throwing stun grenades into a pack of nids with your stealth squads...then dump a detonation pack on them when they can't move for maximum damage.Avoid the first difficulty and try the 2nd or 3rd ones first time...it provides the best balance and experience imo. What difficulty are you playing Dawn of War 2 at?
I play it on the second. I have troubles with micromanaging and using hotkeys, because my hands shake a lot and I tend to press the wrong keys all the time. I'm having a blast, it's challenging and fun. I only lost one fight, but I was on the edge with most of them.
I chose the hardest of the hardest because when I played the beta I beat the computer easily. Big Mistake. The bosses are incredibly difficult.

I remember this time all my commanders died and I only had my Avitus squad againts the Carnifex Boss, I did the craziest micro-management for around 10 minutes and managed to kill it.

Man... that was, exhausting.
When I get the game I'll be playing it on whatever happens to mean ''normal'' difficulty.
I play it on the second.

Thanks, I just started, I am going for the 3rd level of difficulty...lets see!!!
playing on the third (hard)it's o.k. althrough if your units are more than 3s out of cover and not in terminator armour they are basicly deadbut it's quite rewarding when you kill a hard boss^^
Boss Fights are the most epic battles I have seen in a RTS. I play on the third difficulty.
