Looking for a suggestion on a new game...

Hi guys n gals...Well its been so long since i have played a good game thats its un beleivable all i have really had time for lately is a little wow once and a while so i was woundering if anyone would care to suggest a game for me to try out. Preferably a reletavly recent one (or as resent as possible). However heres the thing i have sorta strange tastes as far as a gamer goes. Im looking for something along the lines of a Freespace or Freelancer type game. In the past I played alot of FPS's and RTS's however i got bored of all that and all i really enjoy are the space combat sims however from what i can see there havent been any releases in a very long time. (x 2 was the last i can find and i never really got into that one). So what do you all think any suggestions??
